Mission & Vision

The Centre for Emerging Sciences, Engineering & Technology is a National Project of Science & Engineering Trust (SET). The Centre is established in 2011 with a mission to create knowledge economy in special reference to the national needs. The vision of the Centre is focused on Human Resource Development for the broader objectives and scope of the Science & Engineering Trust. For the purpose, CESET aims to focus to bridging the gap between existing undergraduate and graduate education particularly in inter- and cross disciplinary programs in disciplines related to emerging sciences, engineering and allied management.

Objectives

The objective of CESET is to provide students with quality education, developing the knowledge and skills for proficieny in analytical communication, interpersonal performance focusing on rsearch in related fields. The CESET is currently working to meet the growing industry needs in areas such as Supply Chain Management, Operations and Technology Management, Management Information Systems, Enterprneurship and Innovation.

To develop students concept through regular interaction through seminars, workshops, lectures and conferences organized by the department, or other institutions with experts in their field. To contribute significantly in the development of a community experts equipped with requisite academic knowledge and analytical ability to evaluate national, regional and international strategic environment, policies and security dynamics.

CESET has developed state of art laboratories for cimputing, electrical and electronic enginering which will play a vital role in producing the premium quality and high professional engineers and scientists.

The curriculum is directed towards preparing students focusing on research based academics and development work in industry. The students are provided effective personal development and team-work skills for continuing profesional growth and life-long learning and awareness of their social, professional and ethicacl responsibilities in nationa and international envrionment.

To develop student's ability to draw conclusions based on anyltical and systematic approach to practical problems in their related field.

To offer executive development, courses for working professionals looking for value addition to their professional know-how in the context of a dynamic corporate environment.

Organization & Management
Organization & Management

CESET is governed and controlled by an Executive Council comprising of the lifelong members of the trust and founders of the Centre. The Executive Council is supported by a Governing Advisory Council (GAC), which is responsible to govern all academic and otherwise affairs of the Centre. GAC is a powerful body with its chairman and nine other members representing the faculty, management, Higher Education Commission (HEC), affiliating university, public figures, eminent academicians, scientists and engineers and businessmen of the country.

CESET is managed by two independent positions. Vice President (Academic Management & Outreach) is responsible to all matters pertaining to the academic activity and international partnerships of the Centre, whereas Vice President (Administration & Projects) is looking after the day to day administrative running of the Centre. He also acts as focal point to all external projects being executed in the Centre. Director Academics & Quality Assurance is responsible for all matters pertaining to the office of the registry with an additional portfolio of assuring the implementation of quality protocols for teaching and research programs. 

Academic bodies such as Academic Council, Board of Synergy and Board of Studies are also important constituents of the CESET academic organization.
